Fallujah? Cynic? The Contortionist? I hear all these great bands and more within these songs. Vocals would be interesting but not many vocalists would be able to pull it off. Jandei
Highest-quality-metal!
Imagine Cynic having a baby with Dream Theater, Devin Townsend, Atheist and Joe Satriani!
And now imagine this and add fantastic songwriting!
Ok.
Now you got it, don't you? RATMAN
A very djenty and progressive sound, maybe out of all TDWA releases. Great leads and an abundance of technical interplay such as discordant and cacophonous guitars and peculiar rhythms. Interestingly enough, this album has a more mechanical feel to it in stark contrast to the flora and fauna image depicted, but this was probably done on purpose since TDWA does this best, defying expectations and surprising even the most discerning of listeners! :) Kenny McGalem
